Objectives: This optional course unit in the curriculum of Geography and Planning and Land Management, aims to introduce the concepts and terminology associated with the analysis of transport and communication. Other aim is to discuss how transport and communication contribute to the organisation of territories, as well as discussing the impacts arising from different mobility and infrastructure options. Skills: Empower students to integrate the problem of transport in the analysis of the territories and to include it in the territorial planning practices.
