What does it mean to say that someone is 'integrated' to urban space?
In migration and integration scholarship we often hear expressions such as 'migrants' integration to the labour market', 'migrants' participation in local political life', or 'migrants' access to health and housing', all aiming to understand the relationship between migrants and a certain aspect of their lives in the place of settlement. But what do we talk about when we talk about integration to space? To urban space?
