During this class, students learn about the development of an European migration policy, including the relevant agendas, treaties and directives at EU level. Particular attention is given to the Treaty of Lisbon, the Schengen treaty... etc. Additionally, students learn about the differences between free movers from long established members of the EU, and more recent member states' immigrants
