• Initiate students to legal reasoning • Identify the points of inter-relationship between the legal approach (formal) in spatial planning and substantial approaches. • Enable the identification of the main sources of planning law, its hierarchy, and in particular the relevance of the relationship between law and administrative regulations. • Identify the institutional architecture of town and country planning. • Provide identification of major theoretical and practical issues of planning law, and its discussion in legal doctrine and case law. • Allow the knowledge of the main legal disciplines (legal status of land, planning, control) and enable its application.
